Only such personal data is collected that is actually required for the performance and processing of our personal or web-based services, or that has been voluntarily provided by you.

Description and Scope of Data Processing

Each time our website is accessed, the system automatically collects data and information about the computer system of the accessing computer. During this process, the following data is collected:

  • Information about the browser type and the browser version used
  • The operating system of the user
  • The IP address of the user
  • Date and time of access
  • Websites from which the user was redirected to our website
  • Websites that the customer visits from our website

The purpose of this data processing is the temporary storage of the user's IP address in order to enable the customer to access the website. For the purpose of customer care, the contractual and pre-contractual justification pursuant to Art. 6 lit. b GDPR is relied upon. The retention of these records is based on the justification pursuant to Art. 6 lit. c GDPR (statutory retention obligations).

Contact with Us

If you contact us via the form on the website or by email, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data to third parties without your consent.

When contacting us via email and the contact form, the following data is generally collected:

Use of the Webshop

We would like to point out that Herzog Loibner stores the user's IP data using cookies for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for subsequent contract processing. In addition, when making a purchase via the webshop, the following data is processed and stored for a period of 10 years after completion of the ordering process:

Data is not transmitted to third parties, with the exception of the transmission of credit card data to the processing banking institutions / payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company / shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods, and to our tax advisor for the fulfilment of our tax obligations. After the purchasing process is abandoned, the data stored with us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the statutory retention period (10 years). The data name, address, goods purchased and date of purchase will also be stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (consent) and/or lit. b (necessary for the fulfilment of the contract) GDPR.

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of the browser. They cause no harm. We use cookies to make our offering user-friendly. The cookies used by Webtrends and Google Analytics for analysis do not contain any personal data. Your IP address is truncated directly on your computer. Your IP address is transmitted to Google Analytics in this anonymised form. Google Analytics will therefore not be able to associate your IP address with other information held by Google Analytics. Your Rights

You generally have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal and objection. Right of Access You have the right to request information about the data processed about you. A request for information must be submitted together with proof of identity in written form to the controller.

Upon receipt of your request for information, you will be informed within the statutory period of 30 days as to whether your request will be complied with. The information may be refused, restricted or deferred to the extent provided for by law or required due to overriding interests of the controller or third parties. The request for information may be combined with an application for rectification or erasure of data.

Right to Rectification or Erasure You have the right to request in writing and free of charge the rectification or erasure of the data processed about you, insofar as it is incorrect or is being processed without justification. An application for rectification or erasure must be submitted together with proof of identity and the reasons to the controller.

Statutory provisions on data processing may under certain circumstances preclude erasure. In such a case, we will only continue to process the data concerning you to the extent necessary to fulfil the statutory obligations.
