Origin
The origin of the Aldus leaf lies in the combination of a heart and a leaf. It was named after the Italian printer and publisher Aldus Manutius, who liked the special shape between the 13th and 14th centuries and attached it to his books as a small ornament. This made each of his books unique and at the same time an opportunity to add a personal touch. A thought that touches and a philosophy that Herzog Loibner also wants to follow. The Aldus leaf thus became not only the in-house symbol for Herzog Loibner, but also the source of inspiration for an entire collection.
Development
We, Susanne Loibner and Bianca Herzog, strive for perfection, united in a precious item, both as designers and as brand ambassadors for our Aldusblatt collection. We find inspiration in our home country of Liechtenstein and in the nature that surrounds us in Austria and Switzerland. We draw strength for new ideas from travels to distant and not so distant countries and cultures. Our aim for our jewelry designs is always to convey wearable elegance that is not tied to time or trends. In short: modern classics that can be worn every day and are perfect as a gift for yourself or your loved ones.

Each gemstone is first hand-picked before it is processed into one of our pieces of jewelry. The selection process is critical, but a basic requirement for every piece of jewelry that we want to offer in our jewelry store. Drawing color worlds on paper in advance gives us the opportunity to show our customers the variety of possible combinations. In addition to the color brilliance, we are also fascinated by the backgrounds, stories and healing effects of the gemstones, which are incorporated into our creations and make each little treasure a very personal lucky charm.
